General for Week Commencing: Monday 24 September 2018

   Aries Monday 24 September 2018  Mar 21 - Apr 19
Over the weekend the Sun returned to your relationship sector, something that is more significant than simply turning the solar spotlight onto your relationships. This is something that happens at this time every year and it brings us to the equinox, a time of change but also of balance. There is definitely a sense of change in the air this week and also of a need for balance, but this is being exaggerated by the Moon. It is a balance between your personal and relationship needs that will be put to the test during a Full Moon in Aries on Tuesday. As the Moon, returning to Aries, moves into opposition with the Sun, this could create some personal and/or relationship tension. Yet this brings you to the halfway point of your solar year and a chance to revisit your own needs. Later in the week it will be a balance between money coming in and money going out that will be put to the test, at a time when there are opportunities on both fronts.

   Taurus Monday 24 September 2018  Apr 20 - May 20
At some point during the Sun’s month long visit to your work sector, he will be confronted by a Full Moon in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, demanding time to hear yourself think. This is something that happens at some point during the Sun’s month long visit, but the difference this month is how little time you have to prepare. The Moon will return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart just hours before Tuesday’s Full Moon and the timing couldn’t be better. This could create some work tension and job pressure, but this is a test to ensure you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. With Mercury having returned over the weekend as well, he’s on hand to help you work smarter. What makes the timing so auspicious is that this is the week when both job and career matters are taking off, with even unexpected income developments by the end of the week.

   Gemini Monday 24 September 2018  May 21 - Jun 21
Starting the week with the Moon in your career sector means first impressions suggest a professionally focused week. And with Venus spending her last full week in direct motion in your work sector and Jupiter moving into his final six weeks on Friday, that is definitely the case. In fact, things are coming into play across the job and career fronts and starting the week with your professional instincts and imagination fuelled from the get go is an advantage. Now you can probably sense by now that there is a ‘but’ coming and that ‘but’ is the Sun and Mercury, who both returned to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart over the weekend. Things are coming together professionally, but you not only have a strong focus on all things playful, but this will in turn add more fuel to a passion for adventure. You can have it all, but only with the right work/life balance.

   Cancer Monday 24 September 2018  Jun 22 - Jul 22
We reached the equinox over the weekend, a point in the year when the night and day and the seasons themselves are evenly balanced. This is also a time of change, with the seasons themselves changing and this week this is being exacerbated by both the change in the air cosmically this week and the call for balance. The week starts with the Moon in an adventurous part of your chart, giving the week an adventurous feel from the get go. And with Venus, planet of love refusing to leaving a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, there is a very playful and adventurous feel to the week from the get go. Yet by Tuesday, the Moon will not only return to your career sector, but as a Full Moon. This will all of a sudden see a professional shift and uprising. As well as highlighting a need for balance between work and play, this will also highlight a need for balance between your home and professional lives.

   Leo Monday 24 September 2018  Jul 23 - Aug 22
The Moon is making quite an impact this week, finding itself in both the right and the wrong place at the right time. You start the week with the Moon in your financial sector, managing to miss another confrontation with the Sun, who left your income sector over the weekend. Instead the Moon is able to connect with dreamy Neptune, creating the wrong start to the week for focused financial decision making, but perfect for wishful thinking. The Moon will not only return to an adventurous part of your chart on Tuesday, but as a Full Moon. Yet while this creates an adventurous boost midweek, which is just what the doctor ordered, the Moon will return to your career sector Thursday, just when things were already becoming more professionally focused. While the Moon moves quickly through your chart, it is highlighting forces that will remain engaged, bringing home a need for balance.

   Virgo Monday 24 September 2018  Aug 23 - Sep 22
The Sun and Mercury’s departure from Virgo over the weekend not only brought your birthday month to a close, but all planetary activity for the year. Yet after three months of planetary activity, your birthday month was less the start of a chance to update your needs and priorities for your new solar year and more the last move. This allows you to move into your new solar year with confidence. It is not always the case that conditions in play as your birthday month ends is an indication of what kind of year to expect, in this case it is and that is why this coming year is exciting. What you can expect from this new solar year is a busy year, but also a lucrative year, with a chance to finally lay some old financial fears to rest. This is also a year when there is less relationship tension and something special on both the romantic and relationship fronts.

   Libra Monday 24 September 2018  Sep 23 - Oct 23
The Sun only returned to Libra on Sunday, but there will be no time to slowly ease into your birthday month and new solar year. You will need to hit this new solar year running. When the Sun leaves a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart and returns to Libra each year, often Venus or Mercury will stay on to keep old doors open, allowing for a slow transition. That is not the case this year. Mercury returned to Libra on Saturday and Venus has been and gone, leaving no planetary activity in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart. When your old solar year ended over the weekend, the Sun closed the door after him. You will also have no time to prepare for the Full Moon that will confront the Sun at some point during your birthday month, for this happens on Tuesday. Yet this is waking you up to what is an exciting year that can’t wait to get started.

   Scorpio Monday 24 September 2018  Oct 24 - Nov 21
The Moon is playing a bait and switch on you this week or so it might seem. You start the week with the Moon in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, with playful lunar vibes getting the week off to a fun and playful note. Yet the Moon not only returns to your work sector on Tuesday, but as a Full Moon, not just shifting to a busier focus, but fairly dramatically so. However, if you think you’ll get away with letting life become all work and no play, think again. For on Wednesday, Chiron will retrograde back into a fun, playful, romantic and creative part of your chart, joining up with dreamy Neptune again to ensure that doesn’t happen. In the meantime, with Uranus retrograding back into your work sector next month, this Full Moon is already helping to position things. Yet the month long wind down of your old solar year began over the weekend, with a need to spend at least some time in the slow lane.

   Sagittarius Monday 24 September 2018  Nov 22 - Dec 21
The Sun and Mercury may have left your career sector over the weekend, but even a playful Full Moon on Tuesday will not keep the professional gods at bay. When the Sun and Mercury left they not only took the solar spotlight off your career and professional game, they brought all planetary activity for the year to a close. This is the point where the professional gods are left without a home and bringing home your professional year is now in your hands. Instead, with planetary activity in your work sector, something that rarely happens at this time of year, the professional gods have simply relocated there. In short, life will remain busy, making it important to embrace Tuesday’s Full Moon in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart and the Moon’s position there until Thursday. In the meantime, the Sun and Mercury create an auspicious week for personal and professional networking.

   Capricorn Monday 24 September 2018  Dec 22 - Jan 19
The Sun’s departure from an adventurous part of your chart and return to your career sector over the weekend is always a fairly dramatic shift that takes place at this time every year. More so because this always happens on the equinox, so there is a strong sense of change in the air, but also a need for balance. This will be brought home by Tuesday’s Full Moon, which will put the Moon, moving through your home and family sector, in opposition with the Sun and Mercury. This might create some professional pressure or work/life balance tension, but it is a timely reminder of a need for balance. That balance isn’t just contained to a balance between your home and professional lives, but between work and play. For that sense of adventure the Sun left you with over the weekend is being kept alive by playful forces that are rarely in play at this time of year.

   Aquarius Monday 24 September 2018  Jan 20 - Feb 18
Thanks to the Moon’s visit to Aquarius over the weekend, you’re able to start the week with your instincts sharp, your imagination fuelled and a better read on what is fuelling your passions and fighting spirit. For this was the Moon’s first visit since Mars returned for a rare double dip visit to Aquarius and just as the warrior planet of the cosmos is set to have a very good week. It was the Sun and Mercury’s return to an adventurous part of your chart over the weekend that puts them both at an auspicious aspect to Mars. Mercury will align with Mars on Monday and the Sun in the second half of the week. Not only has Mars returned to Aquarius to find the roadblocks and challenges of his first visit gone, but now a passion for adventure is being fuelled. This comes just as things are coming together professionally, but even there a lack of urgency is giving you time to have it all.

   Pisces Monday 24 September 2018  Feb 19 - Mar 20
Starting the week with the Moon in Pisces is always an advantage or at least it was until three months ago, when the first planet returned to your relationship sector. Since then the Moon’s monthly visits have resulted in an opposition that had the potential to create some personal and/or relationship tension. Last month this created a Full Moon, with even strong emotional responses. Yet while you start the week with the Moon in Pisces, you have also dodged a bullet. That is because the Sun and Mercury both left your relationship sector over the weekend. Instead this is a chance to regroup and the timing couldn’t be better. At a point in the year where there is a lot starting to come together, this was always going to be a chance to listen to your own voice. Yet this is also dreamy Neptune’s final days on his own before Chiron, planet of healing returns on Wednesday. Time spent navel gazing or daydreaming will be good for body, mind and soul.
